About Molly
Molly Davidson (she/her), lesbian writer and river runner, is an artist and poet primarily concerned with the notion of wonder. Her work explores power, pleasure, feminine hunger, myth and archetype, social justice, healing, queer love, politics, pop culture, and climate change.
Kind Words
Molly is a poet with an embodied lyric. She breathes the air of intense feeling, and guides it into her poetry after much internal deliberation. Her writing evokes power in small spaces of compressed lines and delicately chosen turns inside her lines and the progression of her poems, the progression in them. There is a precious quality in Molly’s writing, which is, I believe, mirrored in the way she moves through each day.

“Molly read a poetry manuscript of mine and offered me edits and guidance for both individual poems and for the collection as a whole. She was very thoughtful in her editing, and asked pertinent questions which helped me uncover deeper themes and connections between poems. Employing her edits, I ended up with a collection that was cohesive and powerful... and published! I found her to have an intuitive way of communicating with me, and trusted her in handling poems that were very dear to my heart. Highly recommend working with Molly in any capacity, she is a wise and wonderful teacher.”
